Jouw uitdaging
As a Senior Structural Analyst, you will work in a high-quality technical area at the core of the engineering process. Your main task will be to optimize the strength of the construction of the mega yacht projects. You will be responsible for modeling, analyzing, and calculating the complete ship constructions.
Since you will work on various projects simultaneously, your role will include sharing knowledge and supporting the project teams.
As part of the FEM knowledge center, you will be in constant contact with stakeholders about progress and technical issues related to the structural department.
Wat je gaat doen
- Preparing models, calculations, and analysis of complex shipbuilding structures (longitudinal strength, stiffens, etc.)
- Modeling, calculation, and analysis of local structures (integration of equipment, windows, superstructures, etc.)
- Processing the models and results from your calculations into final reports, including progress and technical issues
- Collaborating with other colleagues from the FEM department
- Communicating daily with other departments that are involved in the project (mechanical, interior, exterior, structural, and naval architecture)
- Acting as the responsible and primary point of contact for the structural FEM work package

Wat je meebrengt
- +4 years of experience in the theoretical and practical approach to structural FEM calculation and analysis within yacht or shipbuilding experience
- BSc. or MSc. in Naval Architecture or Naval Engineering
- A proactive and independent approach, since you will be involved in projects from start to finish
- Excellent knowledge of FEM calculation and structural analysis
- Good working knowledge of 3D software (NX, Inventor, Solidworks), as well as Femap, Nastran, and Ansys
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so that you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team and clients
