Jouw uitdaging

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining a diverse network of contacts while securing new projects for the structural and mechanical engineering fields. These departments specialize in designing and executing unique structures across various sectors, tackling everything from decommissioning to special mission equipment for a wide range of industries.

Beyond the technical aspects, as a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll engage with customers, ensuring that all agreements and proposals are effectively followed up. You will prepare attractive proposals and accurate estimates to engage current and new customers. You will also oversee ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard and meet customer expectations.

Wat je gaat doen

  • Establishing and maintaining leads and gaining new projects
  • Maintain a good relationship with clients and follow up on agreements and offers made
  •  Create attractive offers and accurate estimates to engage new and existing customers
  • You are knowledgeable in technical aspects and you advise clients on structural and mechanical solutions, working closely with specialists and sales managers
  • Follow up on current projects and ensure the correct execution
  • You report to the Executive Board on new developments and projects

Wat je meebrengt

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical background
  • +8 years of experience in sales engineering of technical complex projects
  • Experience in the steel structures, offshore or maritime environments is a pre
  • High-quality standards, so you always strive for the best outcome for the project
  • Excellent communication and people skills, since you will be communicating with clients and other internal departments
  • Ability to work in a highly complex technical environment, so expect to be positively challenged
  • Fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Being eligible to work in the EU
