Omschrijving:
Tasks: Design process piping, prepare material specs, review drawings, support HAZID, coordinate vendors, resolve site queries,
Projects: FPSO modification projects, including Topsides, Turret Mooring System, vessel systems, repair and life extension works. Project-based for 6 months (possibility of extension)
Company: EPCI offshore contractor and offshore fleet owner & operator
Main requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years piping experience, strong materials/stress knowledge, EPC oil & gas background,
Jouw uitdaging
As a Senior Piping Materials Engineer, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality piping systems for an FPSO conversion project. You will prepare material and valve specifications, and perform reviews and discipline checks for piping deliverables.
Wat je gaat doen
- Develop basic and detailed piping designs for FPSOs and SPM systems
- Prepare specifications for piping materials, valves, and special items
- Review and engage with vendor documentation
- Participate in HAZID sessions and support client/third-party approvals
- Review fabrication and construction drawings; respond to site queries
- Provide timely responses to interdisciplinary reviews, client/vendor questions, and certifying authority requests
- Identify technical risks and report progress, challenges, and achievements to your Lead/Section Head

Wat je meebrengt
- MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant piping engineering experience in oil & gas projects
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, valves, and equipment
- Experience in pipe stress analysis and piping design
- Familiarity with international piping design codes and standards
- Hands-on experience in both basic and detailed design phases
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken
- Ready available to start for a 6-month project
