Main requirements: +8 years of experience in instrumentation design, knowledge of Plant 3D with 2D drawings
Jouw uitdaging
As a Senior Instrumentation Designer, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality instrumentation designs within complex offshore (FPSO) projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to translate project requirements into practical, well-structured design outputs, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Wat je gaat doen
- Develop detailed instrumentation designs in line with project specifications
- Create 3D models of tubing systems and cable trays using Plant 3D, and generate corresponding 2D drawings
- Prepare installation details and typicals, including material take-offs (MTO) and cable lists
- Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure integrated and consistent design output
- Monitor progress and report any risks, deviations, or technical challenges to the Lead Engineer
- Contribute to project documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables

Wat je meebrengt
- BSc. or Technical College in Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines
- +8 years of experience in the design of instrumentation systems for offshore oil and gas projects
- Strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD tools, including Plant 3D
- Proficiency in working with technical documentation, spreadsheets, and design software
- Solid understanding of instrumentation design principles and installation practices
- Good communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively within a project team
