Job summary:
Tasks: preparation of all offshore welding, non-destructive tests, and field joint coating
Projects: offshore heavy lift, removal, pipelay, and installations

Main requirements: +3 years of experience in the welding or pipeline industry
The Welding Engineer IWE possesses specialized knowledge and is accountable for managing welding activities during all stages of a project, including tender, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning. The Welding Engineer also serves as a liaison between the vessel(s) and work site(s), clients, project teams, departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and other business contacts. Depending on the size and complexity of a project, the Welding Engineer may be assigned to one or more projects. The ideal candidate should have proven welding or pipeline experience and be comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
