Your opportunity

As a Verification & Validation Engineer Lead, you will play an essential role in ensuring that advanced naval vessels meet strict customer and regulatory standards. With your broad experience in complex shipbuilding or maritime projects, you will design and manage the requirements model based on customer needs. You will also lead and mentor a specialized verification and validation team working on these complex projects.

What you will do

  • Supervise the Verification, Validation, and Acceptance process in shipbuilding projects
  • Manage the requirements model (Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM)) for each shipbuilding project
  • Enhance the requirements engineering process to ensure a complete set of verified system requirements
  • Lead, coach, and assess the verification and validation team involved in complex shipbuilding projects
  • Coordinate team collaboration with test and integration engineers for validation activities
  • Oversee the agreement process with customers on system specifications

What you already have

  • 5+ years of experience designing and executing VV&A activities related to shipbuilding, offshore equipment, or industrial installations
  • Experience with Configuration Management, Requirements Management, and Systems Engineering principles
  • Expertise in the Verification, Validation, and Acceptance (VV&A) process and experience working on Class-regulated products
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or another relevant technical field
  • Proficiency in German and English is a plus, helpful for communicating in a multicultural environment and with international clients
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required due to the military nature of the projects
