Your opportunity

As the Technical Specialist in Requirements Management, you will play a vital role in the design and creation of naval vessels. You will ensure that all engineering teams have access to a single, accurate source of requirements and maintain the data model containing up to 30,000 individual requirements. Reporting directly to Engineering and Project Managers, your expertise will ensure the overall success of the end-to-end design process by providing critical insights and reports on the status of requirements and their integration across teams.

What you will do

  • Set up, configure, and maintain the requirements model in IBM Rational DOORS using DXL
  • Ensure the data model is consistently updated by collaborating with Engineering teams and Project Managers
  • Generate and optimize dashboards, reports, and queries in DOORS using DXL
  • Automate queries and update processes to deliver timely insights to project stakeholders

What you already have

  • Professional or internship experience with requirements management or systems engineering processes
  • Ability to develop creative solutions for complex queries
  • Willingness to learn DXL, the scripting language of DOORS, to automate tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working in a collaborative Scrum/Agile environment
  • Familiarity with version control software (e.g., GitLab)
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written; Dutch is a plus
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport due to the security requirements of military projects
