Are you ready to take on a leadership role that will drive the reliability and availability of the state-of-the-art production facilities? As a Team Leader, you will inspire, motivate, and mentor your team members while contributing to their professional growth and development.

By combining your experience in industrial automation in a manufacturing facility with your coaching skills, you will play a key role in the organization.

What you will do

  • Leading and supporting the controls and electrical engineering team
  • Reporting directly to the Operations Manager
  • Ensuring the reliability of control systems and electrical installations
  • Collaborating with maintenance, IT, project leads, and others to maximize factory uptime and implement budget-friendly modifications
  • Communicating with equipment suppliers and subcontractors
  • Establishing and maintaining standardized engineering procedures
  • Following the continuous improvement mindset: spotting issues and proposing solutions
  • Onboarding and training new team members
  • Participating in consignment support during out-of-office hours on a rotating basis

On the coast near the Dutch city of Haarlem, our client operates state-of-the-art production facilities for the extrusion of thermoplastic composite pipes. An independent company that delivers lightweight, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant pipe solutions for renewable energy and oil & gas applications worldwide. What you already have

  • BSc. Or MSc. in Electrical Engineering¸ Industrial Automation or related technical education
  • +5 years of working experience as an Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • +2 years of experience as a Team Leader
  • Good working knowledge of engineering processes and documentation
  • Knowledge of ISA88, Beckhoff PLCs, Safety Hardware and Programming, and HMI’s
  • Excellent leadership skills
  •  Ability to work in a high-paced, entrepreneurial & multicultural environment
  •  Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  •  Available for full-time in IJmuiden
