By combining your experience in industrial automation in a manufacturing facility with your coaching skills, you will play a key role in the organization.
What you will do
- Leading and supporting the controls and electrical engineering team
- Reporting directly to the Operations Manager
- Ensuring the reliability of control systems and electrical installations
- Collaborating with maintenance, IT, project leads, and others to maximize factory uptime and implement budget-friendly modifications
- Communicating with equipment suppliers and subcontractors
- Establishing and maintaining standardized engineering procedures
- Following the continuous improvement mindset: spotting issues and proposing solutions
- Onboarding and training new team members
- Participating in consignment support during out-of-office hours on a rotating basis

What you already have
- BSc. Or MSc. in Electrical Engineering¸ Industrial Automation or related technical education
- +5 years of working experience as an Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- +2 years of experience as a Team Leader
- Good working knowledge of engineering processes and documentation
- Knowledge of ISA88, Beckhoff PLCs, Safety Hardware and Programming, and HMI’s
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work in a high-paced, entrepreneurial & multicultural environment
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
- Available for full-time in IJmuiden
