Your opportunity

As a Systems Engineer - HVAC Requirements, you will bridge technical engineering with rigorous requirements tracking. You will be pivotal in enabling cross-functional teams to work cohesively through the Systems Engineering V-model. By organising and overseeing the requirements and change management process for HVAC-R systems, you'll directly contribute to the seamless development of state-of-the-art naval platforms.

What you will do

  • Define, manage, and document HVAC-R system requirements in IBM Rational DOORS.
  • Ensure requirements align with SMART criteria and support engineering, V&V, and T&I activities.
  • Manage change requests and keep V-model aligned documentation up to date.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective communication of changes and requirements.
  • Analyze data to support the requirement development and validation process.
  • Maintain streamlined documentation processes to support team efficiency.

What you already have

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience in requirements and change management in a technical setting.
  • Familiarity with IBM Rational DOORS or similar systems.
  • Understanding of HVAC-R systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate to Vlissingen
  • EU citizenship is a must due to the nature of the military projects
  • Willingness to perform a background check
