Your opportunity

Become a key contributor as a Survey Support Engineer in the ROV Unit, where your technical expertise in electronics will support groundbreaking subsea operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and preparing the electronic systems that power our offshore positioning and intervention missions. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a senior position as you gain more specialised knowledge and field experience.

What you will do

  • Perform maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and calibration of survey and ROV electronic equipment.
  • Prepare and test equipment prior to mobilisation, including full calibration procedures.
  • Interface survey sensors and systems with the vessel, ROV, and data networks.
  • Administer equipment status, document repairs, and maintain detailed logs and reports.
  • Liaise with onboard Survey Engineers to troubleshoot and support live operations.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks and report schedules to Survey Engineering leadership.
  • Collaborate with ROV Unit Heads, Supervisors, and Asset Managers on technical issues and improvements.

What you already have

  • MSc or BSc in Electronic Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics, interfacing, and signal processing.
  • Diagnostic, fault-finding, and repair skills for complex electronic systems.
  • Experience in survey systems, acoustic positioning, ROV systems, or subsea projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with equipment administration and preparation of technical work packages.
