Your opportunity

As the Quality Engineer, your role involves supporting the implementation, integration, monitoring, and maintenance of the quality management plan.

What you will do

  • Assist the project organization in meeting all project quality requirements
  • Increase awareness, motivation, and involvement by promoting the quality policy and objectives
  • Monitor and report activities in compliance with relevant ISO and NATO AQAP standards
  • Define quality requirements for suppliers and evaluate their compliance
  • Monitor supplier quality issue investigations and drive follow-up actions
  • Develop and deliver staff instructions, training, and briefings based on planned works, best practices, and changes in legislation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system, including suppliers, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct internal and supplier quality assurance audits
  • Serve as a Quality Assurance liaison
  • Assist with Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities at the building yards

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Business Administration or other relevant faculty
  • Good understanding of quality management principles and techniques.
  • Proven experience in Quality Management
  • Familiarity with supplier quality management, AQAP standards, internal audits, and promoting quality awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English so you can communicate efficiently with your multi-cultural team
  • Available for full-time in Vlissingen
  • EU citizenship is a must, due to the nature of the military projects
