Your opportunity

As a Structures Engineer, you will immerse yourself in the realm of ship structure engineering, employing 2D and 3D modeling software to fulfill client and regulatory requisites. Working closely with a team of structural engineers and analysts under the supervision of a Team Lead, you will contribute to the formulation of construction plans, drawings, and arrangements, taking into account factors such as weight, producibility, and maintainability.

  • Developing construction plans, section, and foundation drawings, as well as outer deck arrangements, utilizing 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Collaborating within a dynamic team to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients
  • Assisting in technical analysis and ensuring strict compliance with relevant requirements and specifications
  • Contributing to the continual advancement of the engineering department and the establishment of project standards

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or similar
  • 2+ years of experience in ship structure engineering, coupled with expertise in structures, preferably within the context of ships or offshore installations
  • Familiarity with class and statutory regulations, as well as proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems (Cadmatic Hull, Catia, or Solidworks)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Available for full-time in Vlissingen
  • EU citizenship is a must, due to the nature of the military projects
