Your opportunity

As an Engineer Structures (Project-based), you will be responsible for the design and development of complex ship structures. You will contribute to projects that define the next generation of naval defence vessels, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with the highest safety standards.

What you will do

  • Develop 3D structural models, construction plans, and detailed foundation drawings.
  • Execute structural engineering activities within 2D and 3D PLM environments (such as 3DExperience).
  • Collaborate with analysts, systems engineers, and other specialists to ensure integration and design quality.
  • Review designs for compliance with classification society and naval standards.
  • Identify and address technical challenges, contributing to process and design improvements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and support production teams with engineering input.
  • Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Naval Architecture, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering
  • +2 years of experience in structural design or engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or offshore construction
  • Proficiency in 3D and 2D PLM tools (ideally 3DExperience)
  • Strong understanding of ship structural principles, class regulations, and construction standards
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Permanent EU citizenship and a passport are required due to the military nature of the projects
