Job summary:

Tasks: structural design and integration of large components into the vessel’s hull

Projects: custom-made mega yachts +80m for upcoming long term projects

Company: engineering office with state-of-the-art building facilities

Main requirements: +3 years of experience as a structural engineer (hull), preferably design experience in Siemens NX

Your opportunity

As a Structural Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Team working on high-end mega yacht projects of 80 meters and above. Your focus will be on the detailed engineering and integration of large structural components into the hull—such as internal reinforcements, large hatches, doors, and other structural elements. This is a hands-on, production-oriented role suited for practical engineers with a strong understanding of how things are built. You will work closely with other disciplines and the production team to ensure that all structural elements are well integrated, feasible, and aligned with project specifications.

What you will do

  • Analyze project information and structural drawings, staying aligned with design updates and changes
  • Perform 3D structural design of reinforcements and large component integration (e.g., hatches, doors) using AutoCAD and Siemens NX
  • Focus on production-ready, detailed engineering for components connected to the hull structure
  • Think of practical, buildable solutions for complex structural challenges
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure a smooth information flow during engineering and production phases
  • Review and check drawings throughout multiple project stages—from engineering to final delivery
  • Support the production team with technical solutions and structural problem-solving
  • Communicate with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment
