Your opportunity

In your role as a Software Engineer, you will develop and implement control software for a wide range of electrical installations within industrial automation. You will translate functional and customer requirements into practical technical solutions within PLC and SCADA environments, working closely with fellow engineers and clients.

Your involvement will cover the process from software development and testing at the office through to commissioning on-site. This gives you the opportunity to see your solutions come to life and contribute directly to safe, efficient and sustainable industrial processes.

What you will do

Translating customer and functional requirements into concrete control solutions
Developing and testing PLC and SCADA software, including Siemens and Schneider platforms
Performing functional testing at the office and on-site
Commissioning software on location together with clients and your project team
Working closely with fellow software engineers and other technical disciplines
Contributing to the development and improvement of internal standards and engineering tools
Keeping your technical knowledge up-to-date and sharing your expertise within the team

Where you will work

You will join an established engineering organization that develops electrical and automation solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects. The projects cover a broad range of sectors, including water treatment, food, chemicals, manufacturing, geothermal energy and sustainable industrial facilities. Projects will combine office-based software engineering with practical testing and commissioning, giving you direct involvement from the initial requirements through to a working installation.

What you already have

A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or a comparable technical discipline
Experience with PLC and SCADA programming
Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider or similar automation platforms
An analytical and structured approach to solving technical problems
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
The ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
Willingness to travel occasionally for testing and commissioning activities
