Job summary:
Tasks: design, analyze, and validate naval vessels and systems against underwater shock loads from explosions

Main requirements: experience with inboard and underwater noise calculation
As a Shock Engineer, you will be the expert on ship and system performance under underwater shock loads caused by mines, torpedoes, or other explosions. You will develop and validate solutions to ensure naval vessels meet the strictest shock requirements through engineering, simulation, and testing.
With your input, ships will achieve maximum safety, reliability, and mission readiness. You will combine hands-on testing with advanced analysis tools, while collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and clients. You will also contribute to innovative R&D projects that shape the future of naval shock engineering.
