Your opportunity

Take on an exciting role as a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant where you'll lead the design and construction of the largest offshore substation ever built. This position offers the unique chance to shape SE strategy at a company level while working on groundbreaking EPC projects. You will be at the forefront of the energy transition, contributing to innovative solutions and working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.

What you will do

  • Lead the SE team in designing and building the largest offshore substation
  • Shape and promote the SE strategy within the company and project teams
  • Participate in Verification & Validation (V&V) processes to ensure project standards are met
  • Work with the Infra Project Management Team on complex infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure integrated project solutions
  • Responsible for the full EPC of projects

Their scope of work covers a wide range of technical activities: starting from the feasibility studies, up to the execution of engineering and procurement projects.

Offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities, and complex steel & mechanical installations are only some examples of their impressive portfolio of projects based all over the world.

What you already have

  • A higher vocational/university degree (HBO/WO) in a relevant field
  • At least five years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Motivation to promote SE practices and involve colleagues from various technical disciplines, which helps create a cohesive team environment
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written, so you can work efficiently with team members and stakeholders
  • A proactive approach, allowing you to identify and solve problems effectively
  • Experience in developing and managing requirements databases (e.g., Relatics)
