Your opportunity

As Senior Process Engineer you are responsible for the continuous improvement of the safe and efficient operation of the Offshore upstream process facilities at this FPSO fleet owner-operator. You are the Process Technical Focal Point for the FPSOs owned by the company. Based on applicable regulations, client requirements, best industry practices, and/or lessons learned, you define and advise on modification projects to the operating facilities. In a broader sense, you will provide technical advice and process engineering support to the Operations and Asset management departments and contribute to the review of performance standards for process related safety and environmental critical elements.

What you will do

  • Perform audits on operations activities, standard, procedures, and manuals
  • Provide assistance and advice as required to efficiently execute modifications and non-routine operations
  • Attend HAZOP’s/HAZID’s and safety reviews
  • Perform process engineering activities
  • Define scope, cost estimates, and planning of modification projects
  • Communicate about solutions, project proposals, and progress to the Operations and Asset Management Departments

What you already have

  • +10 years of experience in Process Engineering in upstream O&G operations support
  • BSc. or MSc. In Process Engineering or similar
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of international safety and process engineering codes and standards
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to be able to communicate with your colleagues and clients
  • Ability to tackle complex issues, requiring expert knowledge and an understanding of the business context
