Your opportunity

As a Senior Marine Systems Engineer, you will act as a Team Lead but also work independently. Your main task will be to produce the engineering output based on the project's budget, planning, and technical requirements. Think of concept and basic packages within the marine systems & piping scopes for FPSOs and SPM systems.

What you will do

  • Executing Concept and Basic engineering packages for marine systems & piping for FPSOs and SPM systems
  • Checking and coordinating the engineering input from subcontractors
  • Preparing equipment specifications, P&IDs, arrangements, and design reports
  • Acting as a lead of an internal team of engineers and designers
  • Maintaining contact with vendors and reviewing vendor data
  • Cooperating with the Project Planner and change management
  • Assisting the yard site team

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar discipline
  • +8 years of relevant working experience in Marine Systems & Piping for offshore or Oil & Gas installations
  • Working knowledge of rules of classification societies (ABS, DNV, BV, and LR) and international codes and standards (HSE UK, Marpol, Solas, PFEER )
  • An analytical and solution-finding approach, since you will be the one solving engineering puzzles
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team, authorities, and clients worldwide
