Your opportunity

As a Senior Integration Marine Systems Engineer, you will lead the integration of advanced marine systems into cutting-edge naval vessels. You will define system configurations, ensure seamless integration, and work closely with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the engineering phase. This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative naval projects and enhance both new and existing ships, supporting the entire project lifecycle from proposal to production and testing.

What you will do

  • Define and select marine system configurations during project proposals.
  • Develop technical specifications for suppliers based on customer and design needs.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and collaborate closely with purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Review engineering documents like schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Draft technical specifications such as system descriptions and testing procedures.
  • Verify system performance through dynamic simulations and inspections.
  • Provide technical support during the shipbuilding phase, including HATs and SATs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

What you already have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marine systems, particularly within naval, offshore, or commercial shipbuilding.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and working with suppliers and statutory bodies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and the ability to collaborate in a team.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
  • EU citizenship or valid work visa, due to the military nature of the projects.
