Main requirements: BSc./MSc. Engineering, 5+ years’ shipbuilding experience, knowledge of plans & arrangements, outfitting, interior & structures.

Your opportunity

As a System Integration Lead Outfitting & Structural, you will oversee the integration of outfitting and structural systems in advanced naval shipbuilding projects. Operating at the intersection of engineering and project management, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, safeguard compliance, and ensure the timely delivery of work packages.

You will take responsibility for Verification & Validation documentation, lead design reviews, and manage compliance with technical and contractual requirements. Beyond design, you will also prepare and oversee factory, harbour, and sea acceptance testing — actively participating to guarantee quality and performance.

What you will do

  • Develop and submit Verification & Validation documentation.
  • Lead and coordinate teams in outfitting and structural integration.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and contracts.
  • Manage delivery, review, and approval of client documentation.
  • Organize and facilitate design reviews.
  • Prepare and oversee FAT, HAT, and SAT programs.
  • Actively participate in FAT, HAT, and SAT.

What you already have

  • BSc./MSc. in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Mechanical, or related).
  • 5+ years of shipbuilding or complex engineering project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interior & Structural design.
  • Fluent English; German is an advantage.
  • EU nationality and passport (mandatory due to project requirements).
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage documentation.
  • Willingness to engage in FAT, HAT, and SAT activities.
