Your opportunity

The Senior Engineer Systems Requirements will play a key role in capturing and managing customer requirements to ensure they align with project objectives. Reporting to the Manager of Systems Engineering and operationally to the Project Manager Engineering/Team Leader Engineering, this position is essential in defining clear specifications for processes and products. Utilizing Requirements Management tools, you will accurately gather and integrate customer needs into engineering efforts.

What you will do

  • Gather, analyze, categorize, and break down customer requirements using a requirements management tool (e.g., DOORS), ensuring all changes are traceable and creating detailed functional and non-functional specifications
  • Ensure requirements are clear, consistent, and resolve any conflicts through proactive communication with project teams
  • Organize and manage requirements for specific work packages, whether internally or through outsourcing/subcontracting, and monitor the development process, providing status reports on requirements to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct systems verification activities to collect evidence of compliance

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Engineering with experience in Systems Engineering principles, particularly in Requirements Management
  • Experience with System Engineering processes, including deriving requirements from operational scenarios
  • Strong logical thinking skills and proficiency with digital tools
  • A project-based work ethic, taking ownership and responsibility for team objectives
  • Effective coordination and management skills in technical/engineering activities with clear reporting abilities
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required due to the military nature of the projects
