What you will do

  • Analyze and document a range of risks in shipbuilding projects, including technical, financial, and geopolitical
  • Prioritize risks through in-depth analysis, crafting and applying long-term mitigation strategies
  • Provide regular risk status updates and mitigation progress to stakeholders
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register, and review contract terms for risk alignment
  • Manage financial risks related to project budgets, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
  • Focus on safety, environmental risks, and manage risks associated with suppliers and vendors
  • Continuously improve risk management practices through effective documentation and process enhancements

What you already have

  • 3+ years of risk management experience, preferably in (naval) shipbuilding or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000 risk standards and experience in complex, international project settings
  • Technical degree in Shipbuilding, Engineering, or a similar field
  • Proficiency in English, Dutch proficiency is advantageous
  • Willing to undergo a background check and hold EU citizenship due to the nature of defense projects
