Your opportunity

As a Marine Engineer, you will be essential in developing innovative solutions and detailing them into practical requirements. Within a project's technical team, you'll work closely with the Tender Manager, Proposal Engineer, and Marine Engineering Manager. This role involves performing design tasks, crafting detailed reports, and outlining precise specifications. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects not only meet but exceed the highest standards of quality and functionality.

What you will do

  • Perform design tasks and generate accurate reports, adhering to project specifications
  • Analyze requirements, draft specifications for marine engineering, and assist with RFQ processes and evaluations
  • Assess design alignments with requirements and prepare relevant reports
  • Create technical documentation including equipment and contract specifications
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders to align on technical solutions
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in evaluating costs from suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance project results

What you already have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of design experience, preferably in complex naval projects
  • Skilled in advanced design and proposal processes within marine engineering
  • Must have permanent EU citizenship and passport; candidates with NL/EU work visas or dual nationalities are not eligible due to military restrictions
