As a Project Procurement Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront, ensuring the seamless acquisition of services and supplies under optimal conditions. What you will do

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive Project Procurement Plan
  • Lead a team of purchasers, expeditors, and logistics experts
  • Manage procurement activities, including purchasing, expediting, inspection, and logistics
  • Collaborate with the Legal Department to establish project-specific terms and conditions
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
  • Handle the issuance of RFQs and the evaluation of technical and commercial bids
  • Coordinate tender board meetings and finalize purchase orders for contract award
  • Oversee commercial issues with suppliers during manufacturing and ensure timely delivery
  • Address conflicts and default situations with suppliers in coordination with relevant department heads
  • Organize supplier site visits for commissioning, repair, and warranty activities
  • Compile purchasing close-out reports and conduct close-out meetings with suppliers when necessary

It is a privately owned company that delivers floating energy solutions and complex mooring equipment to the global oil & gas and renewables industries. Besides having proven capabilities in engineering and developing installations for harsh offshore conditions, they own and operate their own fleet of FPSOs.   • Challenging engineering and offshore operational environment, particularly in developing equipment for extreme offshore conditions
  • Organization with a cooperative mindset and open communication style, which allows for professional progress
  • Drive for new technologies in floating sustainable energy solutions
  • For the size of the projects, a relatively small multi-disciplinary engineering team, with a focus on conceptual and basic design
  • Combining in one close-knit company: EPCI contractor and offshore fleet-owner-operator

What you already have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field.
  • Over 10 years of commercial experience in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Proficiency in managing complex multi-disciplinary projects
  • In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS and contract terms and conditions
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to tackle complex issues, requiring expert knowledge and an understanding of the business context
