As a Project Planner, you will assume a pivotal role, ensuring the strategic and efficient planning of diverse projects from their initial phase through to completion. You will be collaborating and communicating across various departments, synthesizing information to create comprehensive project plans. Your responsibilities will include the generation of detailed progress reports and the proactive identification and resolution of potential project delays and bottlenecks. 

What you will do

  • Monitoring deadlines related to internal and external processes
  • Coordinating the engineering capacity of each department
  • Preparing schedules based on previously obtained information: project planning & calculations, time statistics, and overviews
  • Working alongside the logistics team, ensuring all equipment and resources are delivered on schedule, and engaging in critical discussions and negotiations regarding import/export requirements
  • Monitoring the current status and progress of the project
  • Communicating with external parties and customers

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • +5 years of experience in Project Planning, preferably in shipbuilding or yacht environments or complex industrial installations
  • Proficiency in planning software, such as Primavera
  • High-quality standards, so you always strive for the best outcome for the project
  • Excellent communication and people skills, since you will be communicating with other internal departments and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a highly complex technical environment, so expect to be positively challenged
  • Fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Being eligible to work in the EU
