As a Project Planner, you will be the main person to create, monitor and adjust the planning for the design & engineering phases of mega yacht projects. You will be acting as the right hand of the Project Manager Engineering, by supporting him with preparing the schedules, optimization, and updating the progress. You will be involved during the whole duration of the project, and work as a connecting information point between all internal departments.
What you will do
- Monitoring deadlines related to internal and external processes
- Coordinating the engineering capacity of each department
- Preparing schedules based on previously obtained information: project planning & calculations, time statistics, and overviews
- Monitoring the current status and progress of the project
- Thinking outside the box to provide creative solutions within the project management area
- Performing risk & quality analysis and coming up with optimization suggestions
- Actively cooperating with the other disciplines in the execution of the tasks, to ensure a smooth information flow
- Supporting the Project Manager Engineering in project coordination
- Supporting the production team with solving problems
- Communicating with external parties and customers

What you already have
- +3 years of experience in project planning, preferably within the yacht or shipbuilding sectors
- Good working knowledge of MS-Project and PowerBI
- Strong analytical skills and way of thinking, so you will be able to process all data in a correct way
- Experience with project management (risk & quality management)
- Affinity with technology is a big asset!
- Flexible approach, as you will work in a fast-paced environment with many changes
- Clear and empathetic communication, since you will be working across several departments and project teams
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
- Available for at least 32h/week in the Leiden area
