Your opportunity
As a Project Manager Yacht Building, you will lead the Design and Engineering Team specializing in mega yacht projects +100m. By providing them with your guidance on both, technical and personal levels, you will help them with achieving the best results. You will be able to use your organizational talent, communication skills, broad interdisciplinary skills, and technical insight in relation to yacht building.
What you will do
- Being responsible for the planning, setting up the budget, scope of work, results, and quality level
- Acting as the connecting point of all the departments, from concept and basic design, through engineering until the production phase
- Supporting, mentoring, and inspiring all the team members and their professional development
- Thinking of creative solutions for complex problems to provide production support, where you could use your outside-the-box thinking
- Actively cooperating with the other disciplines in the execution of the tasks, to ensure a smooth information flow
- Supporting the production team with solving problems
- Communicating with external parties and customers

What you already have
- +5 years of experience in multidisciplinary Project Management for yacht or shipbuilding projects
- Flexible approach, as you will work in a fast-paced environment with many changes
- Clear and empathetic communication, since you will be working across several departments and project teams
- Positive and energetic attitude, so your team comes to work with a smile!
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
- Available for full-time in the Leiden area
