Main requirements: +5 years of experience as a Piping Engineer and Project Engineer

 

Your opportunity

As a Project Engineer Piping, you will help this specialized company of 40 people in developing piping systems for custom-made superyachts. Next to that, you will be in charge of the technical supervision of the assigned projects.

What you will do

  • Coordinating and monitoring the progress of the engineering activities, to ensure timely delivery
  • Cooperating with other internal departments in the development of piping systems
  • Communicating with all external parties, such as suppliers, co-makers, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring that the engineering is seamlessly delivered to the production team
  • Occasionally performing the 3D modeling and 2D drafting of various piping systems, such as piping in the engine room, ventilation systems, and sanitary facilities
  • Reporting to the Project Manager

Their main focus lies in the yacht design and building industry.

What you already have

  • +5 years of experience as a Project/Piping Engineer in a similar technical environment
  • A disciplined and pragmatic approach, since you will be involved in tracking the project's progress
  • Energetic and positive attitude, so your team comes to the office with a smile
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, international environment
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Available for full-time in Alkmaar
  • Experience in marine systems and passion for yacht building are huge assets
