Your opportunity

As a Project Engineer, you will be an important link between engineering, production, customers, and colleagues working in the field. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from the design and preparation of HVAC installations for luxury yachts through to inspection and delivery.

Your responsibilities will vary depending on the size and complexity of the vessel. On a large superyacht, you may be responsible for a specific part of the overall project, while on smaller projects you can take responsibility for the complete engineering scope.

You will act as a key point of contact for engineering matters and help ensure that people, materials, technical information, and planning come together at the right moment. The position can also be shaped around your strengths, whether you are more technically or commercially oriented.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the engineering and technical preparation of HVAC installations for luxury yachts
  • Support projects from design and engineering through to inspection and delivery
  • Act as a technical point of contact for engineering-related matters
  • Coordinate with customers, engineering colleagues, production teams, and colleagues working in the field
  • Prepare and maintain project planning to ensure engineering activities, people, and materials are available when required
  • Review and check technical engineering work and support drafting activities when necessary
  • Support work preparation and the smooth technical execution of projects
  • Work on either complete projects or specific project scopes, depending on vessel size and complexity
  • Occasionally travel internationally to support projects and customers

You will join an established international engineering organization specializing in technical systems for the maritime industry, with a strong presence in complex shipbuilding projects.

The company combines engineering with practical project execution, giving Project Engineers exposure to the complete lifecycle of maritime installations. You will work closely with technical specialists, production teams, customers, and colleagues in the field.

What you already have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline
  • Good understanding of physics and mathematics
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • A service-oriented and practical approach to engineering
  • Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers and technical colleagues
