Main requirements: in-depth knowledge of cost control of EPC projects, preferably in the Offshore industry

Your opportunity

As a Cost Controller, you will be a part of the Project Controls department together with other 12 colleagues in the Finance Division. You will be responsible for cost control, risk management, and forecast of expected costs and revenues, from the initial phase of the project to completion and handover. You acquire and update all relevant information on project costs and work together with different Project Managers and Project teams.

What you will do

  • Ensure timely and correct development of cost control strategy for projects
  • Manage 3–6 projects and you are responsible for setting up, reporting, analyzing, and forecasting project results
  • Prepare and maintain cost reports and project change management
  • Create a cost baseline based on the proposal estimate
  • Work together with Project Managers and provide daily finance and administrative support to your project teams
  • Prepare a monthly forecast of expected costs and revenues for the remaining part of the project
  • Supply the Treasury Department with a monthly cash flow overview of costs and revenues (actual and forecast)
  • Control the timely and correct invoicing to clients and follow up on overdue receivables
  • Ensure risk management process and monitor critical areas

What you already have

  • BSc/MSc degree in Finance, technical or equivalent
  • +5 years as cost controller, preferably in the offshore industry
  • ERP software experience & SAP implementation experience is considered a “big” plus
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multi-cultural team and with different stakeholders
  • Experience in working independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities, and passion for innovation are huge assets
