This multi-year EPC project involves extensive work on topsides, the turret mooring system, and vessel systems, with the aim of redeploying FPSOs on a new offshore field.

You will lead a multidisciplinary Project Controls team—comprising cost engineers, planners, and a change coordinator—and work closely with the project manager, procurement, and subcontractor teams. Your expertise will ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with corporate standards and contractual obligations.

What you will do

  • Manage the Project Controls team (Cost Engineers, Planning Engineers, Change Coordinator)
  • Set up and maintain key project structures (CBS/WBS), project baselines, and reporting systems
  • Ensure delivery of consistent and accurate Project Controls services on:
    • Cost & financial control
    • Invoicing and cash flow reporting
    • Change management
    • Planning & scheduling
    • Progress measurement and reporting
    • Risk management
  • Oversee sales invoicing to the client (mixed reimbursable and lump sum contract setup)
  • Oversee the aggregation and reporting of project cost, financial status (VOWD), and forecasts internally and to the client
  • Oversee planning and scheduling activities, including integration of subcontractor schedules
  • Oversee the project’s change control process and ensure timely and accurate change implementation
  • Support the Project Manager in risk management and chair risk assessment sessions
  • Present project status on all Project Controls topics to stakeholders and management

Where you will work

A welcoming organization in which people with the right pro-active attitude will get opportunities to proof themselves and grow.

  • Challenging engineering environment, particularly in developing equipment for extreme offshore conditions
  • An organization with a cooperative mindset and open communication style, which allows for professional progress
  • Drive for new technologies in floating sustainable energy solutions
  • For the size of the projects, a relatively small multi-disciplinary engineering team, with a focus on conceptual and basic design
  • Combining in one close-knit company: EPCI contractor and offshore fleet-owner-operator

What you already have

  • MSc/BSc degree with 10+ years of experience across cost control, planning/scheduling, risk, and change management in large EPC projects (>100M USD)
  • 5+ years in a lead role
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with experience managing subcontractors
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP and project control systems (e.g. MS Dynamics Business Control or SAP) and Primavera P6
  • Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced functions, graphs)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and strong presentation/report writing skills
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally (Europe, Middle East, Far East)
  • A collaborative, communicative personality with sound business ethics

Your benefits

  • 30 paid holidays per year for an excellent work-life balance
  • Covered commuting and interviewing costs
  • Business Travel Insurance
