Your opportunity

Are you ready to lead the construction process of cutting-edge shipbuilding projects worldwide? As a Production Manager Shipbuilding, you will coordinate and execute the construction of ships or ship modules. This role requires significant business travel and may involve extended periods of working abroad, offering you the chance to be at the forefront of global shipbuilding.

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate all production activities for shipbuilding projects, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality targets
  • Develop and advise on the building strategy, sequence, and execution approach for projects
  • Implement corrective measures and alternative solutions when planning or quality targets are at risk
  • Manage a team of supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and capacity to meet project demands
  • Provide guidance on additional work and variations from the planned construction processes

What you already have

  • MSc. or BSc. in relevant Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or related faculty 
  • 3+ years of experience in managing production processes of complex shipbuilding or yacht building projects
  • In-depth knowledge of the production department dynamic and everything that comes with it
  • Willingness and ability to frequently travel long distances and work internationally
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English so that you can communicate with your international team
  • Willingness to perform a background check required by the client
  • Permanent EU citizenship and a passport are required due to the military nature of the projects
