Your opportunity
As a Plans and Arrangements Engineer your main task will be to produce a technical package and have it successfully approved by the customer, Class, Statutory & Flag Societies.
You will mainly focus on delivering 2D & 3D documentation of plans and arrangements. You will be involved in both, basic and detail phases of the project within the Structural Engineering Department.
What you will do
- Producing technical package consisting of statutory plans, arrangements of accommodation, outer decks and technical spaces excluding engine room
- Cooperating on a daily basis with other team members, statutory bodies and the customer
- Communicating with the owner’s team, surveyors, flag & class societies
- Checking and analyzing the technical data provided by suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting the production team during the commissioning phase

What you already have
- +5 years of experience in structural engineering within shipbuilding or offshore sectors
- Excellent technical knowledge of plans and arrangements
- BSc. or MSc. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
- Good working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD systems (Cadmatic and/or Catia)
- Good theoretical & practical knowledge of class and flag rules & regulations
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
- Available for full-time in the Rotterdam area
- EU citizenship is a must, due to the nature of the military projects
