Your opportunity

As a Piping Engineer Energy & Offshore , you will contribute to the successful delivery of offshore and energy projects by designing and detailing complex piping systems in 3D. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with engineers from various fields to ensure accuracy, compliance, and maintainability of plant layouts. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the design process—from concept to client review—while working on high-impact infrastructure projects.

What you will do

  • Design and model piping systems in 3D using AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • Produce deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, support drawings, piping MTOs, and Equipment Weight & COG reports
  • Review plant models in Navisworks for design integrity, clash detection, accessibility, and maintainability
  • Draft technical specifications, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
  • Perform basic stress and material checks and advise on appropriate selections
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, and Instrumentation
  • Participate in BIM coordination and interdisciplinary design reviews
  • Support installation and construction phases with inspections and quality checks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant offshore and energy industry standards
  • Contribute to client reviews and act as a technical point of contact throughout project phases

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar discipline
  • +5 years of relevant working experience in piping design for offshore or Oil & Gas installations
  • Working knowledge of system schematics, P&IDs, isometrics, and piping layouts, as well as piping bulk materials and principles of piping flexibility
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and 3D piping design tools
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English
