Your opportunity

In your role as a Piping Designer, your primary responsibility revolves around ensuring the piping design aligns precisely with the technical specifications and project timeline. You will keep the Lead Project Engineer informed about progress, setbacks, and potential improvements, and highlight any technical risks or anomalies to the Process & Piping Section Head. Occasionally, you may be called upon to undertake activities abroad, on-site, or with our clients.

What you will do

  • Evaluating and designing system schematics, P&IDs, piping layouts, and isometrics
  • Executing the designs utilizing the knowledge about piping bulk materials and principles of piping flexibility
  • Performing Concept and Basic Design in Autodesk Plant 3D and Autocad 2D
  • Reporting to the Project Engineer about design progress, improvements, and concerns
  • Cooperating with other discipline engineers and designers in the realization of optimum design

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar discipline
  • +3 years of relevant working experience in piping design for offshore or Oil & Gas installations
  • Working knowledge of system schematics, P&IDs, isometrics, and piping layouts, as well as piping bulk materials and principles of piping flexibility
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and 3D piping design tools
  • Experience with Autodesk Plant 3D is a must!
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so that you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team, authorities, and clients worldwide
