Your opportunity

As an Outfitting and Arrangements Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering and integration of construction arrangements throughout the yacht. Your focus will be on translating concepts into production-ready engineering packages, ensuring that complex arrangement solutions are technically feasible, manufacturable, and fully integrated with other engineering disciplines.

Working closely with the Project Engineer, Lead Engineers, and Production, you will contribute to the engineering of custom-built superyachts where no two projects are alike. Particular attention will be given to the integration of yacht equipment such as platforms, gangways, cranes, and other construction-related components, ensuring smooth interaction between engineering and production.

What you will do

  • Develop 3D models, arrangement drawings, and engineering documentation for construction arrangements
  • Integrate yacht equipment such as platforms, gangways, cranes, and structural interfaces into the overall yacht design
  • Assess the manufacturability and feasibility of engineering solutions before production
  • Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and project requirements
  • Identify technical bottlenecks and develop practical engineering solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Project Engineers, Lead Engineers, Production, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Review engineering output with Production and implement improvements where required
  • Deliver engineering packages on time and according to project planning

What you already have

  • MSc or BSc degree in Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in shipbuilding or yachtbuilding engineering
  • Good understanding of construction arrangements, production processes, and manufacturability
  • Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, AutoCAD, and preferably Cadmatic
  • Knowledge of Class and Flag State regulations and engineering standards
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English
