Your opportunity

As a Offshore Survey Engineer, you will contribute to game-changing marine engineering projects. From ultra-deepwater ROV surveys to record-breaking pipelaying and subsea construction, you’ll be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team. You’ll ensure survey operations are executed with technical precision and to the highest industry standards, directly supporting complex offshore missions across the globe.

What you will do

  • Plan and execute hydrographic survey operations for offshore construction, heavy lift, and pipelaying projects.
  • Manage surface and subsea positioning operations, including quality control of survey sensor data.
  • Support project teams from tender through execution, ensuring survey solutions align with engineering goals.
  • Conduct ROV and deepwater survey operations, including missions in waters over 3,000 meters deep.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on survey strategy and sensor deployment.
  • Analyze and interpret seabed data, subsea infrastructure mapping, and positioning accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with offshore safety and technical standards throughout survey operations.
  • Liaise with GIS and data processing teams to support geospatial accuracy and deliverables.

What you already have

  • A MSc or BSc in Hydrography (CAT A), Geomatics, Geodesy, Geophysics, or Survey Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of survey hardware, methodologies, and positioning techniques.
  • Experience in surface/subsea positioning, ROV operations, and offshore survey requirements.
  • Affinity with GIS, seabed mapping, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with offshore construction survey protocols including installation and decommissioning.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A methodical and accurate approach with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
