Your opportunity

Imagine working with the most complex Offshore Vessels and helping to enhance the technical capabilities of the entire fleet!

As a Maintenance Engineer, your primary task will be to provide technical support for the maintenance and modification processes.

You will define critical equipment and establish preventive maintenance plans. You will be involved in various projects, including heavy lift vessels, nodules collection vessels, pipe laying vessels and barges, offshore support vessels, and multiple supply vessels.

Working alongside your 50 colleagues in the Technical Department, you will actively participate in several sustainable initiatives, ranging from hybridization to maximizing the environmental friendliness of our operations.

Your home base will be the headquarters, and occasionally, you will visit the fleet and shipyards.

What you will do

  • Assisting Technical Superintendents in execution control and corrective maintenance
  • Analyzing and defining critical equipment
  • Identifying and investigating new maintenance concepts
  • Measuring and analyzing maintenance performance
  • Defining the necessary administration to preserve maintenance history
  • Participating in risk workshops (design review, FME(C)A)

What you already have

  • +5 years of experience in an offshore or marine environment & ships equipment
  • Experience with reliability centered maintenance & risk-based maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of ERP and Asset Management software
  • Affinity with analytics tools (business intelligence, dashboards)
  • You thrive in an innovative work environment since you will be involved in the development of challenging and one-of-a-kind products
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multi-cultural team and with different stakeholders
  • Available for full-time in The Hague area
  • Experience in working independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities, and passion for innovation are huge assets 
  • Willingness to occasional travels
