Main requirements: 5+ years leading planning teams on large-scale EPC projects, 10+ years EPC planning experience, expert in Primavera P6 and risk analysis, strong reporting and communication skills

Your opportunity

As a Lead Planning Engineer, you will have the chance to take the lead on planning for a major international FPSO modification project. You will oversee the planning team, coordinate subcontractors, and manage project schedules from EPC start (September 2025) through delivery (mid-2028). Your expertise will be key to defining and maintaining planning structures, ensuring accurate reporting, and guiding management through risks and changes.

What you will do

  • Lead the planning team and manage subcontractors in planning, scheduling, and reporting
  • Define WBS, key milestones, baselines, and progress measurement structures
  • Build and integrate Primavera P6 schedules, including resource loading
  • Prepare S-curves, histograms, efficiency reports, and forecasts
  • Manage change control and implement approved updates into schedules
  • Perform schedule risk and scenario analyses, presenting results to stakeholders

What you already have

  • Technical degree in engineering or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience leading planning teams on large EPC projects
  • 10+ years as a Planning Engineer on EPC projects
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Projects, and Primavera Risk Analysis
  • Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, graphs)
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Strong reporting and presentation abilities
  • Flexible to travel internationally when required
  • Collaborative, communicative, and professional approach
