Do you have a background in the offshore wind sector, experience with leading a project, and a passion for sustainability? Then the most modern and complex offshore wind projects are waiting for you!

As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer Offshore Wind, you will act as a discipline leader within an international and multidisciplinary team. You will focus on projects for the Offshore Wind and Energy sector, providing technical support and guidance for all Instrumentation-related matters.

What you will do

  • Producing and checking bid evaluations
  • Preparing instrumentation designs according to the project requirements
  • Delivering the technical scope within time, budget, quality, safety, and legal regulations
  • Cooperating on a daily basis with other internal departments, as well as external stakeholders
  • Working under the guidance and reporting to the Project Manager

This multidisciplinary engineering office based in the Rotterdam area is well known for delivering state-of-the-art tailor-made solutions in the field of Construction, Installations, Infrastructure, Traffic, Maritime, Water, and Offshore & Energy.

Their scope of work covers a wide range of technical activities: starting from the feasibility studies, up to the execution of engineering and procurement projects.

Offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities, and complex steel & mechanical installations are only some examples of their impressive portfolio of projects based all over the world.

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • +5 years of experience in the Offshore Wind sector
  • +3 years of experience in leading a project within your expertise
  • Commercial mindset, so you always thrive for the best outcome for the project
  • Passion for technology
  • Excellent communication and people skills, since you will be communicating with other internal departments and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a highly complex technical environment, so expect to be positively challenged
  • Fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Available for full-time in the Rotterdam area
