Your opportunity

As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will help this innovative company on developing technologies and processes in the E&I Unit of the Innovative Department. They are currently focused on the hybridization of the vessels for the installation of wind turbines. You will quickly get involved in tasks such as making high-level designs, defining specifications, communicating with vendors, and making technical deliverables.

By applying your knowledge from university, you will be able to quickly develop professional skills and gain practical and hands-on experience. When in doubt, there will be many experienced colleagues ready and eager to mentor and guide you.

What you will do

  • Analysing the power needs in each project and being responsible for the design and implementation of suitable hardware solutions
  • Designing and specifying all sub-components, to ensure that they are correctly built and can function together as one single system
  • Communicating with external parties, such as vendors and co-makers
  • Being fully involved in the installation and commissioning phases of projects
  • Travelling frequently to visit vessels worldwide

What you already have

  • MSc. in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Sustainable Energy Technology
  • An enthusiastic and entrepreneurial approach, since you will be working independently
  • Down-to-earth and collaborative attitude, to ensure smooth and transparent communication within your team
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, international environment
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Available for full-time with flexible working hours
  • Experience in hands-on (hobby) electrical engineering and passion for technology are huge assets
