Your opportunity

As a Interior Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department, focusing on practical detail engineering and the applicability of interiors delivered by subcontractors. Rather than working on styling or conceptual design, your core responsibility will be ensuring what is designed can be built in—how, when, and to specification. What you will do

  • Coordinating high-end interior development for the yacht building industry
  • Producing, analyzing, and checking interior drawings and layouts in AutoCAD and Siemens NX
  • Focusing on the technical practicality and integration of subcontractor deliverables into the build
  • Checking and approving the accuracy of the technical output from the team of Interior Engineers and subcontractors
  • Reviewing all project-related information: quality, integration, timelines
  • Monitoring progress in close cooperation with other disciplines: outfit, marine systems, and electrical
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, design codes, and regulatory rules
  • Maintaining communication with Classification & Flag Societies
  • Supporting departments such as purchasing, production, commissioning, and aftersales
  • Creatively identifying solutions and improving engineering processes
