Your opportunity

As an Installation Engineer, you will be part of a department specializing in the design of permanent offshore subsea structures, ensuring they meet client-defined standards efficiently and cost-effectively. Installation Engineer within the Pipeline Engineering Department, contributes to a wide range of tasks, from design and fabrication to installation planning. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team working on offshore pipeline installation projects, focusing on preparatory work such as design, analyses, procedures, material take-off, and offshore engineering support.

What you will do

  • Supporting the Lead Engineer in developing innovative, cost-effective solutions for offshore installation activities.
  • Conducting detailed analyses, calculations, and simulations using specialized engineering software.
  • Preparing installation procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Performing material take-off and coordinating procurement for installation activities.
  • Providing engineering input for vessel mobilization, deck layouts, and equipment installation.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless execution of project phases.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications throughout all stages of work.
  • Delivering hands-on support during offshore operations, including resolving technical challenges on-site.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Reviewing and updating installation processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What you already have

  • A BSc or MSc degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills, and result-driven approach
  • Strong proficiency in English to communicate with an international team
  • Willingness to work offshore when required
  • Hands-on approach, since you will be working on diverse projects at the same time
  • Excellent communicator with a clear understanding of compliance needs and a fit-for-purpose approach
