Your opportunity

As a Functional Application Specialist 3DX, you will help engineers do their work more efficiently by making sure the PLM platform works smoothly and fits their needs. You will be the link between business processes and the 3DX environment, translating engineering requirements into practical, reliable application solutions.

We are looking for several specialists, each working with a different engineering department. That means you will not only solve day-to-day issues, but also help shape how entire disciplines collaborate and share data in 3DX.

What you will do

  • Translate engineering business processes into functional specifications and workflows on 3DX
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze issues and devise innovative solutions
  • Develop and implement streamlined application processes
  • Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users, troubleshoot issues, and share practical solutions
  • Maintain catalogues, libraries, specifications, and project-related data in 3DX
  • Develop and document training materials, user manuals, and tips
  • Organize and coordinate training sessions in partnership with the Engineering Support team
  • Manage interfaces between applications and oversee user rights
  • Maintain productive relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners
  • (Potentially) perform activities as a Functional Application Specialist for Cadmatic (Outfitting) on the legacy tooling platform

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Engineering
  • Affinity with engineering processes in a high-tech environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of Dassault 3Dexperience (3DX)
  • Familiarity with Cadmatic (Outfitting) is an advantage
  • Good grasp of PLM principles and functional application management
  • Strong communication skills to work with engineers, IT, and suppliers
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage)
  • EU citizenship and passport are required due to the military nature of the projects. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality/passport are not eligible.
