Job summary:
Tasks: Electrical engineering, concept and basic engineering of shipboard electrical energy systems
Projects: Complex defense, offshore, and special-purpose vessels
Company: Leading Dutch electrical installation and system integration specialist active across naval and yachtbuilding sectors
Main requirements: BSc. or MSc. in Electrical Engineering and experience in electric engineering
Your opportunity
What you will do
- Design complete shipboard electrical power systems based on project requirements and applicable maritime regulations
- Prepare and develop concept and basic engineering deliverables for electrical power systems
- Deliver technical solutions within agreed budgets and project timelines
- Identify deviations within the project scope and take proactive action where required
- Report on engineering progress and ensure clear and transparent communication within the project team
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to achieve the best overall system solution
Where you will work
You will work in a maritime engineering environment involved in the design of advanced vessels such as superyachts, naval ships, and offshore vessels. Engineering teams are involved throughout the design phase, combining strong technical expertise with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

What you already have
- Bachelor?s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of experience as a hardware or electrical engineer
- Knowledge of shipboard systems and maritime electrical engineering
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to engineering challenges
- Ability to work effectively in a team while taking ownership of your responsibilities
- Good communication skills and fluent English for working in an international project environment
