Your opportunity

As a Contracts Engineer Offshore, you will be a part of the Contracts & Procurement Department. Their main task is to manage the procurement and subcontractors to assure the best conditions regarding quality, price, HSE, and timely delivery. Your main responsibility will be coordinating and administrating all main contract activities related to the company's technical projects: subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Next to focusing on the ongoing activities, you will also participate in creating subcontracting strategies.

What you will do

  • Cooperating with the Project Team and other departments
  • Managing & administrating all actions related to subcontracting on several projects simultaneously
  • Focusing on delivering the output in accordance with the time schedule, budget, and quality
  • Participating in subcontracting strategies corresponding with the project goals
  • Organizing and running several types of meetings: commercial, tender-related, and kick-offs
  • Preparing the technical evaluations of received tenders
  • Optimizing and negotiating any contractual and commercial activities

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Engineering, Business, Legal, or Supply Chain Management
  • +3 years of relevant working experience in contracts management, ideally within an engineering environment
  • Relevant experience with management of (sub)contractors
  • Proven working knowledge of lump sum EPC(IC) contracts
  • Availability for travelling (both, short & long-term overseas assignments)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English
