Tasks: Perform and design development tasks, evaluate new concepts, prepare technical documents

Main requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, 3+ years of experience, knowledge of various advanced design concepts and practices, experience with designing and integrating marine engineering systems

Your opportunity

You'll translate marine engineering designs into project requirements for product development. Additionally, you'll participate in sub-product development within product development teams. You'll create reports and specifications and work closely with colleagues both within and outside the development project.

What you will do

  • Perform design and development tasks
  • Contribute to requirements analysis, concept generation, system architecture, weight and power estimations, propulsion and energy plant configurations, and ship balances
  • Evaluate new concepts and prepare related reports
  • Prepare technical documents, equipment specifications, contract specifications, and reports
  • Create presentations to illustrate calculations, concepts, and data
  • Collaborate with internal departments for improved project outcomes

What you already have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in various design concepts and practices
  • Experience with advanced design and proposal processes, as well as designing and integrating marine engineering systems, especially in new built naval ships
  • Must hold permanent EU citizenship and passport
