In this role, you will support the Business Development manager to grow & develop the offshore wind market. You will promote and find new opportunities for a new product line within a renowned provider of floating energy solutions and complex mooring equipment.
What you will do
- Being a key member of our Business Development Department
- Working closely with the Cost Estimating, Tender, and Technology Development teams to identify new business opportunities and promote cutting-edge solutions for the Offshore wind market
- Supporting the Business Development Manager Floating Wind in all aspects of business development
- Identifying and building relationships with key players, clients, partners, and organizations in the floating wind market
- Monitoring, analyzing, and following up on market trends and commercial developments in this field
- Preparing and submitting applications for national and international public funding programs
- Finding and developing funding for product development such as investors, partners, funds, etc.
- Working together with marketing and PR departments to create attractive tools to brand the new product line

Besides having proven capabilities in engineering and developing installations for harsh offshore conditions, they own and operate their own fleet of FPSOs. - Challenging engineering environment, particularly in developing equipment for extreme offshore conditions

- For the size of the projects, a relatively small multi-disciplinary engineering team, with a focus on conceptual and basic design

What you already have
- +1 year of experience in the offshore wind market
- A Msc. degree in Naval Architecture, Offshore, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- An enthusiastic and solution-finding approach, since you will be brainstorming new ways to promote a new product line
- A convincing and communicative attitude, as you can only be successful in this role if you get all parties involved aligned with your solutions
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with a multicultural team, authorities and clients worldwide
- Available for full-time work in the Hoofddorp, and willing to travel occasionally to visit clients
- A great passion for driving renewable technological solutions is key
