Your opportunity

As an Asset Integrity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of integrity issues on FPSO Fleets. As a part of the Operations Technical Management department, you will work closely with the Asset team to develop, implement, and execute Integrity Management (IM) systems and you will contribute to the overall performance and success of the FPSO Fleet. 

What you will do

  • Planning and coordinating the Risk-Based Assessment (RBA) life cycle process to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance costs, and plant availability
  • Ensuring timely remediation of Mechanical/Corrosion Damage Reporting (MCDR) in accordance with agreed plans and actions. Additionally, overseeing MCDR reporting registers
  • Conducting failure investigations as necessary and actively participating in the development of Integrity Management strategies. You will identify improvements in work practices and contribute to continuous improvements
  • Assisting both onshore and offshore Maintenance and Operations teams with Integrity-related activities. You will provide supervision and support to Offshore Inspection Engineers (OIEs) on each asset, acting as the focal point during their leave periods
  • Managing third-party IM support activities for assigned assets and Integrity tasks within our Maximo system

What you already have

  • A BSc. degree in Integrity/Corrosion/Mechanical Engineering or related
  • Proven relevant experience in Integrity Management and affinity with Class Rules and other Regulatory Authorities
  • Ability to effectively plan and monitor project activities
  • Flexibility to travel offshore and abroad as necessary
  • An analytical and solution-finding approach, since you will be the one solving multi-disciplinary engineering puzzles
  • A convincing and communicative attitude, as you can only be successful in this role if you get all parties involved aligned with your solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team, authorities and clients worldwide
  • Available for full-time work in the Amsterdam area, and willing to travel occasionally to yards, suppliers and clients
